Oh, my darlings! Today, Grandma is going to show you how to make a Fruit Salad with Passion Fruit Cream that comes together in just minutes! It’s a light, sweet dessert that’s so delicious, you’re all going to love it.
You know, a fruit salad with lots of different fruits is such a treat! And with this passion fruit cream, it becomes a dessert that simply melts in your mouth.
My dears, before we begin, I’d like to send a special thank you to the “Receitas da Cris” channel on YouTube. It was there that I found the inspiration for this wonderful fruit salad. It’s so lovely to see people sharing such deliciousness and helping us grandmothers bring even more joy to our families. A big hug from my kitchen to hers.
Fruit Salad with Passion Fruit Cream
Let’s learn how to make it together to make our family Sunday even sweeter.
Grandma’s Ingredients
For the Little Fruits:
- Green grapes
- Bananas
- Apples
- Mangoes
- Strawberries
- Kiwis
- Papaya
- Melon
- Juice of 1 lemon (to keep them from turning brown)
For the Marvelous Cream:
- 1 small box of cream, well chilled
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- Pulp from 3 ripe passion fruits
How to Make It, Step-by-Step
- Let’s start with the fruits: Dice the bananas and apples into little pieces and drizzle them with the lemon juice so they don’t darken.
- Now for the other fruits: Dice all the other little fruits into small cubes and set them aside.
- Time for the special cream: In the blender, place the passion fruit pulp and blend it well until it’s completely crushed.
- A Grandma secret: Pass this pulp through a sieve to remove the tiny seeds. Return the smooth juice to the blender.
- To make it creamy: Add the sweetened condensed milk and the chilled cream. Blend for another 2 minutes until it’s a smooth, silky cream.
- Now for the magic hour: In a large bowl, place all the diced fruits and pour over the cream you made. Mix everything together gently.
- The finishing touch: Place it in the refrigerator to get nicely chilled. Believe me, it tastes even more delicious when it’s cold!
Grandma’s Serving Tip
Serve it well chilled in pretty glasses! It looks beautiful for when you have guests or for a special family treat.
