Ingredients

  • 5 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 500 g pork belly (sliced, skin removed)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Place the pork belly slices in a baking dish and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, grated ginger, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and honey. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the pork belly slices and coat evenly.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven, flip the slices, and return to bake for another 30 minutes.
  6. Once caramelized and golden, remove from the oven and serve hot.
